While most celebrities and guests who have been on the show have only positive things to say about their experience, not everyone can say the same. When singer, Calum Scott was on the Ellen show for his daytime TV debut performance in 2016, something weird happened to him.

Apparently, he was approached by the stage manager who after welcoming him gave him a strange but serious warning to not look Ellen in the eye. He was told that “Everything else is fine, but just don’t look her in the eye.” Yeah, that sounds pretty odd to us too but we’re glad he kept it together.
