Sarah Paulson may be the Queen of terror on American Horror Story, but in reality she’s quite the scaredy-cat and it’s adorable. Ellen being the total prankster she is didn’t let a single opportunity to scare the star slide by. 

While she has done it multiple times, one of the best (or worst if you’re Sarah) scares ever executed was when Ellen kept her occupied while someone crept up behind her to give her a fright. Before she could fully recover, another person in a clown costume jumped out of the box to freak her out. Sarah actually started to weep speechlessly and it was so sad yet funny to watch.
