Dog owners out there are probably familiar with the scene of coming back home to find the mess the dog had created in his search for snacks or his favorite slipper. Apparently, having a raccoon as a pet is not that different from having a mischievous dog. Raccoons can be just as playful as dogs, if not more.

When dogs do something they aren’t allowed, they often know what they did wrong, and you can see their guilt in their eyes and body language. According to this photo, raccoons are the same. This raccoon definitely looks like he’s done something wrong, and he’s feeling guilty. He probably went through the trashcans and created a huge mess, or ate something that he wasn’t allowed.
