Keep Your “Boos” to Yourself
When you hear the word “boo,” you either think of a ghost or someone saying something was horrible only using one word. But, is it an word to write on a restaurant bill? The answer is no. Casper the Friendly Ghost wouldn’t even write it, but this lovely human being took it upon themselves to write the word “boo,” and then some in the tip section, to let the waiter know what they thought of the service.
You know the chant for playing the limbo, “How low can you go?” Well, this isn’t a game, but it’s most certainly a low blow. Unless a waiter or waitress purposely gave you third-degree burns with hot soup, they didn’t fail. They’re working as hard as they can, and if there’s a wait with food or terrible tasting food, it’s generally not their fault. Keep your boos to yourself, unless you want the ghosts of past wait staff to haunt you.
