Parents really shouldn’t be playing favorites with their kids. Sure, they may see more of themselves in one over the other, but all kids should be equal in the eyes of their parents. That just makes sense, is the fairest option, and has less chance of hurting any of them. But we don’t live in a perfect world. Sadly, it’s pretty common for a mom or dad to favor one kid over the other.

They may have their reasons, but none of them are good enough to lie over. Could you imagine your brother or sister wrecking your ride? Now make it worse by having your parent lie for them to your face! Now let’s go just one step further.  What would you do if your parent blamed some mysterious fake person just to throw you off the scent?
