Abuse is the unjustifiable treatment of a person, animal, or a thing, often done to unfairly gain benefit. You may not know it but it comes in so many forms, not just physical.  Abuse may also be verbal, emotional, and mental, but most often, it involves physical, like assault, injury, and all other types of aggression.

One user shared how they were not only emotionally abused, but at one point, they were also physically abused. I don’t think people know enough about what abuse can do to a child. Not only does this cause trauma, but it also affects them in the long run, in terms of growth and development.
