Emojis have made their way into our lives, and it doesn’t look like they’re on their way to stopping anytime soon. Something about just sending a little animated character makes the whole idea of exchanging messages and what is not far less intimidating.

But when BBC News sed emojis on their Facebook page, it wasn’t so well received by its followers. But by responding with the use of one singular emoji, it makes us think that the people at the BBC are down to have a little bit of fun.
