What the Cast of Friday Night Lights Is Doing Today

Taylor Kitsch had a pretty humble childhood in Kelowna, British Columbia. After his parents split up, he went to live with his mother and siblings in a mobile home park, but he quickly learned how to play hockey and participated in local junior leagues before going professional. Following a knee injury, he retired at the age of 21 years old and went to college.

In New York, he pursued a career in modeling that didn’t pan out, but his desire to become an actor did. After Friday Night Lights, he played in two miniseries—true Detective and The Defeated. Today, he has three TV shows in works in collaboration with Amazon and HBO.
