What the Cast of Friday Night Lights Is Doing Today

Jess Merriweather first appeared on Friday Night Lights in the fourth season as a student at East Dillon High. She was the daughter of a former East Dillon Lions hero, and like her father, she showed immense love and spirit for the sport. While attending high school, she would help at her family’s restaurant.

In the fourth season, she started a brief relationship with Landry Clarke, but the two eventually called it off before starting a more serious relationship with Vince. Jess’ love for football sparked an interest in becoming a coach one day, and she shadowed Eric Taylor whenever she could. We last see her moving to Dallas to manage her father’s restaurant chain, but she still dreamed of becoming a football coach one day.
