D.W. Moffett | J.D. McCoy
J.D. McCoy is an incredibly talented quarterback who comes from an over-privileged family. He made his high school varsity team as a freshman and would eventually replace Matt Saracen as the starting quarterback. However, during his first year at high school, he heard his father, Joe, try to bribe head coach Eric Taylor to put his son in the starting position.

Once a bright-faced young man with high hopes, he grew to become an arrogant jerk after his dad became the President of the Booster Club. In the fifth season, we learn that he was demoted to the position of backup quarterback for the Panthers, which must’ve been a huge hit to the arrogant SOB’s ego.
