Want to look young? Rinse your face with rice water
For many people, maintaining perfect skin is impossible. You probably have all kinds of skin creams, powders, moisturizers, and bottles of spoiled milk, but you still might have crocodile skin. Don’t be offended, our skin looks like a rhino’s butt.
But there’s a pretty neat trick that Japanese women from older times used to have fairer skin. After washing rice, they don’t discard the cloudy water. They use the starch-laden water to rinse their face. Some studies show that rice water creates a barrier that blocks contaminants from entering your pores. It’s worth giving a shot, seeing as how rice water is colorless and tasteless.
