Fitting room full? Measure pants waist by looping it around your neck
Say you’re at a busy shopping center and the fitting rooms are all full. What do? You could wait your turn and have some rude Karen push past you, claiming that she “only” has ten articles of clothing she wants to try on. Or you can take your pants off in the middle of the shopping center and risk getting the police called on you.
Or, and this is just a suggestion, you can try looping the pants around your neck. The circumference of our necks is roughly half the circumference of our waists, so if the buttoned or zipped pants can loop around your neck comfortably, that means it might fit your waist comfortably.
