We’re not trying to convince anyone to go vegan or vegetarian, but if you want a healthy, plant-based source of protein, consider soy-based foods like tofu and tempeh. Tofu and tempeh are rich in protein and absorb flavor from whatever broth or seasoning they’re served in. You can stir-fry tofu, deep-fry tofu, and make tofu soup. The recipe list is endless!
Plus, you can use soft, moisture-rich tofu in desserts. Instead of making Jell-O, get some tofu, make a quick palm sugar sauce with a honey sweetener and enjoy. We don’t know about you, but we could eat tofu every day. It’s just that good!
