Burned your hand in the kitchen? Pour some soy sauce on the burn
Accidents happen all the time in the kitchen. You can cut your finger while trying to masterchef-slice onions. You can burn your hand while trying to flip eggs. And on more than one occasion, we’ve slipped on water puddles. The following life hack, however, only solves the burning thing though.
Place a few droplets of soy sauce on the burn. It soothes the skin and removes redness almost completely. Plus, soy sauce is antimicrobial, so it’ll hopefully get rid of any contaminants trying to enter the wound. Just make sure you don’t lick your hand. We know how tempting the saltiness of soy sauce can be!
