Jawsome!
We’d like to think that actors in movies stay in touch after the cameras stop rolling, but that’s not always the case. That’s probably why they make such a huge deal when randomly running into each other in the real world. Well, there’s a pretty heartwarming story of two actors meeting several decades after recording.
The actress who played Mrs. Kintner in 1975’s Jaws happened to visit a seafood restaurant one day. She noticed on the menu that there was a dish called the Alex Kintner Sandwich, and she informed the staff that she played the mother in the movie. Then Jeffery Voorhees comes running out of the back to embrace the actress. He played her son in the movie.
