Another category of humblebraggers that we often come across is the academics – you know the ones who know they’re smart but have to pretend they’re not just because. This woman tweeted about how university is weird because she got an A+ for an essay she thought was the worst she had ever written. 

Not just that but the same essay went on to win a $500 contest after her professor submitted it without telling her. Apparently, she still cringes when she reads it. Okay, then. We don’t know about the essay but this post definitely makes us cringe. At least, she got $500 out of it so that’s good.
