Triggering Success
We’re not sure whether this tweet is based on a real incident or not but if it’s the former, it’s just wrong on so many levels. For one, if she really has a sensitive friend who was being triggered by the OP’s success, why would you post about it online?
Wouldn’t it be better to actually let her be or ask her to get professional help instead? The last thing you should be doing is telling the world how you’re so amazing that people around you are getting upset because of it. The worst part, however, is the bit where she says she respects her friend for being open and vulnerable. Isn’t that patronizing or is it just us?
