Compliments can do wonders for a person’s ego but something about this story just doesn’t add up. According to the OP, once the weather got warm enough to drive with their windows down, people kept yelling compliments at them. Apparently, it had happened twice since the previous day. 

Firstly, yelling compliments sounds more like cat-calling but since we don’t know for sure we won’t judge. Secondly, we would believe the story if they said it had happened once but the fact that they said it keeps happening doesn’t seem realistic. Anyway, we wonder how they manage to keep their eyes on the road with all that admiration coming their way.
