50 Times Influencers Went a Little Too Far

Gratitude is a good thing but if you’re going to write a caption about it on Instagram, make sure you don’t come across as insensitive. When Natalie Schlater uploaded this picture where she’s looking at the rice fields in Bali, dressed in her swimwear, she got a lot of flak for it. 

It wasn’t so much about the picture as it was about the caption that read, “thinking about how different my life is from the man picking in the rice field every morning.” Sure, she meant to say that she knew how lucky she was but her post made it sound like she was shallow and disrespectful towards the hard workers.
