$149.99 > $100
You’ve probably seen websites like this. On the first page of Google, you’ll see titles like Headphones Under $100 or Lawn Mowers $1,000 or less. Upon opening the site, the article bombards you with products that are out of your price range. Why even promote X under $Y when you’re pushing costlier products?
We don’t know whether this is false advertising or not, but it is pretty sleazy of these websites to do this. Also, you can find headphones under $100! Or maybe the additional $50-$100 includes shipping and handling, as well as insurance fees? Nope, this isn’t the case. This website is going against the very thing they’re claiming to promote. Shame.
