“You like it? It cost a lot”
Being a mailman gives you a glimpse into the personal stuff of people all around you. You don’t even have to open their mail to see that they’re behind on their bills or made another alcohol-induced Amazon purchase. Usually, you just deliver the package, and that’s that. But what do you do when a customer asks you about something they ordered?
In this case, the customer asked his mailman whether he liked his new $500 watch. First of all, nobody cares how much your watch cost. Second, the mailman probably had no idea what was inside of the box. Thirdly, don’t pester the mailman. He’s got a job to do.
