If you’ve hired a wedding DJ for some part of your evening, then you know there are certain songs that will end up being played during the night. Most of you will be up doing the conga, and there will definitely be a rush to the dance floor when the opening bars of Thriller ring out across the room.

You know, I would love to know what songs had the same effect before Michael Jackson released his Halloween tribute. Was it “A Hard Days Night” or “Johnny B Good” that started the stampede? Or were they all a much more sedate bunch back then?
