Try This Hack for Shrunken Sweaters
Did your favorite sweater just shrink in the washer? Don’t fret. The best part about fibers like cashmere and wool is that you can easily bring them back to their normal size. Fill a tub or sink with warm water and soak your sweater in it. Then add two tablespoons of baby shampoo or fabric softener to it.
Let it soak for 30 minutes, then remove it and squeeze gently to get rid of excess water. Lay it flat on a clean towel and roll it to remove more water. Then stretch it uniformly to get it to its original size. Let it dry while laying flat and for future reference, never put any sweaters in the dryer.
