Soundproofing a Room
Don’t want passersby’s footsteps to bother you at night? Or maybe you don’t want noises from your hotel room leaking into the hallway? Whatever the case is, soundproofing a hotel room is pretty simple. Just take one of the spare towels from the bathroom and place it beneath your door to cover the crack.
Any noise that outside won’t leak inside and vice versa. However, the walls may still be paper-thin, so if you’re going to engage in some sort of activity that involves making loud noises, try and keep it to a minimum. It can be mighty embarrassing to receive a phone call for noise complaints.
