Don’t Be Afraid to Complain
Earlier, we said that you shouldn’t be a Karen and that being kind can be beneficial for your stay. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t complain if something isn’t right. Just try and be polite about the problem; hotel staff are much more willing to cooperate with guests who don’t go flying off the handle.
In fact, if the manager is on duty, they’ll more than likely want to settle the problem before it has a chance to get out of hand. They’ll pretty much do anything to ensure that their guests don’t leave negative feedback on the internet.
