Plastic Protection
If your hotel has a TV, which 99% of all hotels have, then odds are it’ll have a remote, too. Now, the last thing you want to do is grab the remote control with your bare hands. Do you know how many other people have touched that thing? And do you know how infrequently it gets sanitized?
What you should do is stuff it in a plastic bag before pressing the remote controller’s buttons. You never know where the previous guest’s hands touched before grabbing onto the remote control. This might sound like we’re overreacting, but please, heed this warning: don’t touch the remote control without wrapping it in plastic first.
