Don’t be fooled by their marketing ploys
Like any large retailer, IKEA spends a fortune on marketing research in order to sell more goods to every customer that sets foot in the store. One of their marketing ploys is stacking products way up high. Presumably, customers will equate large stockpiles of a product with lower costs, even if this isn’t the case.
So, if you see a mountain of a certain product, you’re not actually saving anything or enjoying discounts (unless it specifically says so). This marketing trick isn’t inherently a bad thing, especially since their products are already reasonably priced.
