Okay, you may think that by now we are just trying to trick you into becoming an outstanding citizen. But we promise you that if you try volunteering, it can actually benefit you just as much as the cause you are helping out with. If you don’t believe us, there is research to back it up.
Volunteering can actually lower anxiety and depression because you are giving your mind a purpose and rewarding yourself for doing something selfless. It just seems like a win-win situation for us, you help your own mind out and a cause for free, and try to sell us a better deal than that.
