Tell students to mark their own papers
Here’s a secret for all of the teachers out there. If you don’t want to waste 800% of your life grading paper after paper, delegate the grading task to your students. It might sound counterintuitive to ask your students to grade their own papers, but they’ll actually learn quite a lot in the process.

Sure, there’ll be the odd student who changes his or her grade as you rattle off the answers in front of the class, but for the most part, students are more than willing to be honest about their wrong answers. Even if they give themselves 100% plus extra credit, when test time comes around, you’ll know who’s been lying.
