Unqualified? Apply anyway
Headhunters make a living by finding the right employee for the right position for their clients. They’ll follow up on whatever requirements the company needs, but you should know something about these requirements. They’re more of a suggestion list than anything else. Companies will ask for certain qualifications, but headhunters know that the ideal employee might not have such credentials.
So, if you feel unqualified for a position, you should just apply anyway. While filling out the application form, don’t feel discouraged about a few empty boxes or a short resumé. The worst anyone can do is say no, which is a word that will give you a thicker skin in the workplace.
