Looks clean but it ain’t
If you’ve ever been to a supermarket before (we all have), you’ve probably noticed those plastic containers with nuts, candies, coffee beans, or whatever else they store in there. You can purchase bulk, unpackaged products from these containers, which are cheaper than getting them in plastic or paper bags. Good in theory, but you might not want to buy from these anymore.
You see, supermarket employees never wipe them down when refilling them. This means you’re sharing bacteria with other customers, possibly from months or even years ago, which is downright yucky. Pre-packaged goods are more expensive, but they’re also clean(er).
