Ancient signs of vandalism
We don’t know about you, but this picture is triggering our trypophobia. All of those holes on a smooth brick wall are making our skin itch. A Londoner had seen this wall every day they took the train but couldn’t figure out why the construction crew had designed such a wall.

Apparently, they didn’t. According to other internet users who had been in London for longer, these holes were made by vandals who visited the train station. They’d take coins and dig them into the soft surface of the brick wall, producing neat holes that spanned the entire wall over the course of several decades.
