Posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award
After the memorial service at the Staples Center in LA, the first time the Jackson children made a public appearance was when Prince and Paris accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 Grammys on their father’s behalf. They sported red armbands and wore black clothing to commemorate their father, who had passed just six months prior.
Prince and Paris took to the stage to retrieve the award from Lionel Ritchie, while Blanket remained in his seat. He was preoccupied with his toys while his older siblings delivered their brief speech to the celebrity crowd. After that, the Jackson kids pretty much went into hiding.
