Rain Indicator
Due to all of the noise pollution outdoors, some hotels are designed with super-thick insulation. That way, the constant honking and people breaking out in song outdoors don’t penetrate the walls and disturb hotel guests. However, because of the sound insulation, how will people know it’s raining?

Simple—they can check out a rain indicator that’s usually mounted on a wall somewhere inside the hotel. If the indicator lights up, it means it’s raining and you should bring an umbrella before you step foot outdoors. It’ll also remind hotel guests to keep an umbrella with them since it could mean it’s going to rain later on in the day.
