Spinning Train Seats
Don’t you hate train seats that face each other? Even though you’d like to ignore everyone in the vicinity, your seat forces you to stare at a total stranger during the entirety of your train ride. This is a problem that has plagued mankind since the invention of trains, but Japan has solved this problem, too.
Some trains in Japan have rotating chairs. That way, if you’re tired of staring at the passengers in front of you, you can swivel your chair to stare at the people behind you. Or you can all face the same direction and ignore each other like normal human beings.
