Blame the Peanuts, For Sure
If you’ve ever been to a barbecue you may hear the familiar sound of metal clanging as folks take turns playing a game of horseshoes. In case you aren’t familiar with the game, it’s a game where people stand across a yard from each other with metal poles on either side and throw horseshoes to try to get them around this pole, or as close as possible. For Jess, she got a hunger pang at an inopportune time and decided to take a snack break at just the wrong moment.
Just as she was cross the game to grab herself some peanuts as a snack, she got hit in the head with a horseshoe. Ouch! We can only imagine the pain that she must’ve felt. If you need to cross a game where folks are throwing heavy metal objects (or anything, really) be sure to announce your crossing and duck and cover! We do think it’s a bit unfair for the peanuts that they’re getting the blame here.
