Freezing Cold
The mind is a powerful thing. It has the ability to trick you into feeling things that just don’t make sense to your circumstances. This holds true for injury and illnesses. You may be experiencing one thing and your body is feeling something completely different. This is especially true for people suffering from hypothermia.
To keep your body warm in really extreme temperatures, your blood vessels constrict. Once your start to enter into hypothermia, these vessels let go and all the warm blood rushes close to the skin, making you feel like you are hot. Do not remove any article of clothing during this period of time, or it could turn life-threatening.
