Chewing Is Key
Have you ever heard that you’re supposed to take an aspirin if you suspect you’re suffering a heart attack? That is because the medication will enter the bloodstream and ideally break up the blood clot that is causing the attack, therefore saving your life.
What you may not have heard, is that you should actually chew the aspirin before you swallow it. If you chew the aspirin up, it will get into your bloodstream faster and get to your arteries much quicker. The sooner the clot is destroyed the better chance of recovery you’ll have.
