#5: Craving Milk Tea
This unfortunate logo is an example of what can happen when you don’t have a budget to hire a professional designer. An entrepreneurial businesswoman opened DewThai in the Philippines capital of Manila a few years ago. She designed her own logo, which is a stylized straw poking out of a boba cup.
Unfortunately, the shop owner is the only one who thinks her logo looks like a straw. The DewThai logo looks like something else, much more R-rated. The chef’s hat hovering above the straw adds extra icing to the innuendo cake. For better or worse, DewThai’s DIY logo went viral, drawing in tons of customers. Maybe this shop owner knew exactly what she was doing when she made this odd logo.
