“Where did you get your degree?” This is the quickest way to shut down a mansplainer after he goes on a long monologue about a topic that you know for certain he’s not qualified to talk about. It’s nice that you read an article about psychology once five months ago, but we bet you didn’t click on the hyperlinks to the original research articles and review them carefully. Are we right or are we right?

Meanwhile, this guy was speaking with a Ph.D. candidate. It’s pretty fair to say that anyone who gets accepted into a doctorate program on any subject knows a thing or two about their field.  Thanks for your input, kind sir, but it was totally unnecessary (and factually incorrect).
