Those who have cooked for some time know how to identify certain ingredients in a single glace glance. At the very least, you’ll have a good idea of what the essentials are. When it comes to pink salt and rice, the average person will be able to tell the difference right away.
No one knows how this lady’s boyfriend came to believe the salt was made of grains of rice. For starters, rice isn’t pink. Secondly, nobody moves rice into mason jars for long-term storage. Luckily, he didn’t add any water to the rice cooker just yet. Still, it’s amazing he dumped so much salt in there in the first place before realizing his erroneous rice-cooking ways.
