Not Karen
Today, the name “Karen” is used by younger people in a not-so-flattering way to refer to an older lady that complains about anything and everything. But, as Gen X representative Aimee Giese puts it, there is a much more apt name that the youngsters should be used to reference an out-of-touch older woman.
In 1989, a movie called Heathers came out, and Aimee suggests that that name would be much more appropriate for the women of her generation. But most millennials and gen z members likely have never heard of Heathers at all. I guess the name you use to insult a middle-aged lady just comes down to when you were born.
