OK-ish Baseball Player
Four months later, Michael returned to the professional sports world but not wearing a jersey anyone expected. On February 7, 1994, he started his professional baseball career, signing with Chicago White Sox’s minor league. Apparently, his father dreamed of MJ playing in the MLB, so he decided he would honor his father’s memory by trying his hand in baseball.

During his time in the White Sox’s affiliate team, he made 127 appearances, batting .202/.289/.266 with 88 hits, 46 runs, and 51 runs batted in. Sadly, he never fulfilled his father’s dream of making it into the MLB. He was an OK-ish player, as some put it, but his baseball skills wouldn’t land him a contract with an MLB team.
