Jersey Retirement
After just one season in the White Sox’s affiliate team, Michael called it a day. He knew that his future in the MLB was nothing but a dream. He sincerely did his best, but without the formal training and passion for the sport, there was no way he could make it past the minors.

However, he hadn’t made plans to return to basketball just yet. On November 1, 1994, he made his way back to United Center to see his #23 jersey hanging from the rafters. At the time, he was a three-time NBA champion and Finals MVP. While people were cheering the man for his accomplishments, they had no idea that he intended on making a return to the NBA.
