Final Retirement
Following the anticlimactic 2002-03 season for the Washington Wizards, Michael Jordan retired for the third and final time of his professional career. Over the course of his career that spanned three decades, he averaged 30.1 PPG, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals.
He was a six-time league champion, six-time Finals MVP, 14-time All-Star, five-time league MVP, one-time Defensive Player of the Year, and nine-time All Defense. He rightfully earned the spot among the greatest to ever play basketball in the world. To this day, his name is always in the conversation for the NBA GOAT against people like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.
