This story seems like something straight out of a romance novel, but it really happened! Our storyteller was taking a solo trip across Europe during college. Obviously, being by himself in a foreign country, he wasn’t expecting to meet anyone he knew. Boy, was he in for a surprise. 

Somehow, someway, the universe aligned and he ran into his old high school crush while he was out sight-seeing! They reconnected and attended a concert in a cathedral together. (We know, this is so romantic we can’t even stand it.) From there, they decided to keep traveling together for the remainder of their trip. They lived happily ever after.
