Sewing Machines
After one hundred years, no one would have predicted the existence of a portable electric sewing machine. Sewing machines were formerly affixed to tables and had pedals at the base that controlled speed.
The majority of the early sewing machines were quite baroque in appearance instead of the compact and streamlined models available today. They’re more straightforward to use and less noisy than previous versions from the 1960s, among other things.
