Aerial View of Islands
Islands come in all shapes and sizes, made by different geological phenomena. But one of the most common ways they’re formed is from volcanic eruptions! That’s right. When a volcano erupts, magma builds up over time and creates land.
This landmass is formed from lava that has cooled repeatedly over the surface of the ocean. This is why islands are surrounded by water on all sides. Now that you know how they are formed, doesn’t it make it easier to appreciate this beautiful image of an island?
