Cal Ripken Jr. – 1982 Topps Traded
Athletes are frequently featured on the front of cereal boxes, milk cartons, and other products. Cal Ripken, Jr. is one of them. In 1981, Cal Ripken Jr. made his debut with the Baltimore Orioles, quickly rising in popularity and appearing on the side of Wheaties cereal boxes in the 1990s.
While a Wheaties box may or may not provide financial returns, producing a profit with the 1982 Topps traded expansion set’s rookie card is a no-brainer. You could sell one of these in mint condition for around $200. If you have one of these, be careful since the back might flake off easily.
