Pete Rose/Pedro Gonzalez/Ken McMullen/Al Weis – 1963 Topps
This is the only card in our selection with four distinct rookies. Pedro Gonzalez, who played for the Yankees, Ken McMullen of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pete Rose of the Cincinnati Reds, and Al Weis of the Chicago White Sox are among those featured on it. Only Pete Rose went on to have a legendary career.
Over the years, Rose has won a number of honors, including MVP and Rookie of the Year. The foursome was purchased for $717,000 in 2016, which is remarkable. Its high price tag was likely due to its excellent state. It isn’t easy to come by a perfect 10 card nowadays, much less one from the 1930s.
